If you are a practicing muslimah, you are beautiful already so it is better for you, if you consider these things, so as to remove doubt or any wrong doing...
(1) Eye brows
Do not re-shape or pluck them for there are hadith that lend towards it being incorrect and we can not know for sure (or without a doubt) what is right in this matter. For this purpose it is often better to stay away from doing it.
Allah has cursed those women who modify their eyebrows or ask others to do it for them (Sahih al-Bukhari)
(2) Nail polish
Nail polish can be known to have extracts which are not halaal so exercise caution when purchasing these products. There is also a concern when it comes to wudhu - the wudhu can not reach your nail if you have nail polish on. Some scholars say it is okay if you make wudhu and then apply the nail polish, however the point rather to be noted here, is, you should be removing and reapplying every single time you lose your wudhu. For all practical reasons, it is best to stay away from it considering we are not sure how it negates wudhu which is more important than nail polish.
(3) Jewelery
Don't be excessive in jewellery, as it is, an ornament that should be kept for your those in your private circle (the ones who are allowed to see you uncovered). I know we all have loves and I am no exception so I restrict myself to only piece which is normally my ring and nothing else. I wear earrings but these cannot be seen as my head is covered.
(4) Dress
As a muslim woman, our clothes need to be clean, neat and loose fitting. I often see girls or ladies wearing a scarf with tight jeans and tops. This is not hijab. You might as well not cover your hair then because the dressing negates the requirement of jalabiya/hijab. If you want to wear tight clothes, atleast cover up with an abayya when you go out.
(5) Perfume and Salaat
If you like me and wear perfume, always make sure that you do not pray in the same clothes if you have used perfume that contains alcohol. Re-perform wudhu and/or rather use non-alcohol based perfumes only.
(6) Mannerisms:
Never be loud in your speech but rather soft. It is better to say less if you have nothing to say. Greet others and adopt a kind mannerism in all you do. In your dealings, treat people equally whether you are in the company of a maid or a king, you should be consistent.
Be Proud of who you are - Have a great weekend!
